Hi there, I'm Lauren.

I'm a commercial food and product photographer + stop motion creator living in the metro Atlanta area. I specialize in helping conscious / sustainable / ethical brands stand out through visual storytelling.

I bought my first DSLR camera and dabbled in photography during a photojournalism course in college. After graduating, I  went on to work as a marketing specialist at an industrial adhesive company.

Years later, my mom and I started a vegan bakery together. I pulled out my camera again and took pictures of all the delicious treats, which ignited my love for food photography. My passion for capturing food only grew stronger when I started a vegan food blog called Planted Purpose.

Seven years into my marketing career, I decide to leave and start my own photography business. While my journey into food and product photography hasn't been a linear path, I wouldn't change a thing.

When I'm not behind the camera,  I enjoy tending to my plants, cooking, hiking, attending concerts, and traveling whenever possible. I also love trying new foods and cuisines - Vietnamese, Korean, and Indian are a few of my favorites. 

Animals are a massive part of my life! My husband and I live with our family of two cats, one dog, a turtle, bearded dragon, and a leopard gecko.
